Three Art Shows to See in Q4

Here are three art shows to catch before the year ends.

James Barnor, Style in the Sights at Cartier Foundation for Contemporary Art

James Barnor

(October 19, 2026 – March 31, 2026)

This exhibition unveils a collection of photographs and contact sheets created as part of Ghanaian photographer James Barnor’s collaboration with Drum magazine in the 1960s. Barnor began working for Drum magazine in 1952, and with his keen eye for street style and mastery of color, he eloquently captured for Drum the intersection of Swinging London and the everyday lives of the African diaspora in 1960s London. His work is particularly distinguished by the prominence it gives to African women, represented in the diversity of their life paths and identities.
